As with most towns along the front range, its roots are in mining and railroad. Yet, it’s become a place to raise a family, enjoy the out-of-doors and stretch your legs. Enjoy the clear blue water of Monument Lake or one of the other nearby lakes and the plentiful walking and hiking trails.
